Chief System of Systems IntegratorThe Opportunity:Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical leadership skills with big picture thinking to help deliver U.S. Space Force capabilities to the warfighter? In this role you will lead and direct the technical effort of an SE&I team to help the Space Force architect, engineer, integrate, test, and field the Space Warfighting System of Systems (SoS). You will work side-by-side with senior Space Force officers and executives to lead the development and definition of SoS engineering and integration plans and processes, perform architectural analysis, define and manage requirements, control interfaces, and design, integrate, and test end-to-end capabilities, mission threads, and kill chains.As a technical leader on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities across the space enterprise to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up-front and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions. You will perform systems engineering leadership and program management in support of enterprise reviews and governance boards, as well as analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate executive leaders and stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. The world can’t wait.You Have:18+ years of experience in defense systems engineering and development, including with Joint space operations, C5ISR, and battle management systems5+ years of experience serving in a systems engineering leadership role for a large-scale space system of systems programsExperience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Experience working within the DoD acquisition systemKnowledge of Department of War acquisition systems, lifecycle planning, program management, and key program milestonesAbility to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD missionAbility to be comfortable with daily interactions at the executive leadership levelAbility to drive organizational change with limited authorityTop Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in an Engineering fieldNice If You Have: Experience working within the DoD acquisition systemExperience practicing MBSEExperience in Agile planning and systems developmentKnowledge of Space Force systems and warfighting missionsPossession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skillsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsTS/SCI clearanceMaster's degree in a STEM or Space fieldClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Top Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
