Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required License: Valid state PT license required (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatric physical therapy Description: Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist position available. The assignment length is 13 weeks, with an option for 26 weeks. The shift is 4x10 or 5x8 days, upon traveler’s choice. Some weekends are required, approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month. The clinician will work with both inpatient and outpatient pediatric populations. Experience with acute care and adaptive equipment is essential. Skills should include assessment, gait training, individualized programs, and pediatric developmental evaluations. Candidates must be willing to work during two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year. Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in one assignment. After completing an assignment, travelers are required to take a minimum 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment. References must be provided covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Candidates must also be prepared to float within the facility as needed.
