As a Vocational Counselor, you’ll connect talent with opportunity while making a meaningful impact in the King George community. What You’ll Do Help individuals identify strengths, interests, and career goals. Develop individualized employment plans and provide career guidance. Support resumes, applications, interviews, job readiness, and onboarding. Provide one‑on‑one and on‑site job coaching. Build relationships with King George-area employers and identify employment opportunities. Help address workplace barriers through accommodations, assistive technology, and natural supports. Track progress and maintain accurate documentation. What We’re Looking For You qualify through one of the following pathways: Required: A relevant work or life experience supporting individuals with disabilities. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current insurance. Willingness to travel throughout the service area. Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings. Experience in the following is a plus: Vocational rehabilitation Employment services or job coaching Workforce development Human or disability services Case management Working with veterans or individuals with disabilities Why Join Omega?
